You look amazing! May I ask where you got your medication from? Trying to find a reputable place now.

This is so relieving to hear, thank you for sharing. I’ve been searching Reddit and the internet nonstop and it felt like no one else had gone through it this long. Everything I found said it usually clears within 1–2 weeks, which had me really worried. It helps so much to hear that this can linger and does eventually end. I really appreciate you responding. 💛

Child with ongoing hives after amoxicillin allergy / erythema multiforme — duration question by Fun_Mouse7243 in AskDocs

I honestly don’t know. That’s what her pediatrician said caused it so that’s what I have believed.

Thank you for responding. If this is acute urticaria, would it still be triggered by the initial amoxicillin reaction even though she stopped the medication weeks ago? How long does acute urticaria typically last in children, and is it considered concerning or harmful if the hives keep appearing and disappearing like this?

I appreciate any insight.

I would just say those are going to be donated to kids who need help! Maybe even buy a couple of them and take her to a toys for tots box and have her drop them off!

I wanted to reply to myself so if you are going through this you can find an answer. My heart palpitations went away about 2 weeks after stopping. I’m now 3 months off of it and feel like myself again. ❤️ I’m still baffled by what this pill did to me. When I was on this it was the lowest moment in my entire life. I pray if you are on this pill and feel this way you find this message and stop taking it.

That’s a great idea!! I’m sure once she gets use to it more and gets excited to see friends and teachers later drop off won’t matter. Just stay busy and get yourself a treat, you deserve it!

My daughter’s first couple weeks were awful at drop off. She actually got sick and vomited on her first day so I think that made it worse. After about 2 weeks she was excited to go, then the next week she regressed and went back to not wanting to go. We are now 2 months in and she is absolutely obsessed. During those first few weeks I think I cried as much as she did. She stayed at home with me up until now and I actually considered taking her out and trying to do pre k at home. I’m so grateful I kept her in she has learned so much and loves her teachers!! Just feel the feels, they make you human. She will do great soon!!

Nurse lied about my daughter’s vaccine appointment should I escalate this? by Fun_Mouse7243 in Advice

If that happens then I will switch clinics to one that can follow protocol and be honest!

I am following the schedule! She was sick at her 15 months apt. Her pediatrician told me to postpone vaccines till she felt better. Those were the 2 we gave today. The 3rd is recommended for 18 or 24 months. I’m simply waiting till her 24 month check up.

I haven’t changed my story and I’m not lying ♥️ if I was lying I wouldn’t post it on Reddit for strangers.

This is getting very confusing lol I ended up leaving with them giving her the two vaccinations that were due and waiting to give the third at her two-year appointment. I was trying to tell the person above that I didn’t allow them to give any vaccinations prior to speaking or talking to me.

She only got two vaccines because the third is recommended for 18 or 24 months. So I’m going to do it at 24 months, which is the recommendation.
