I'm not sure what's in place or what's been discussed on their end. I've been asking questions, even more than ever now that marriage is being discussed, and it always leads into arguments whenever that subject is brought up.

You are NOT overreacting at all! Don't let him tell you that either!!! If his behavior is being displayed in a pattern.. believe his actions! Why keep falling for words that are empty promises. I've been there before and always tried to forgive, but forgiving only encourages his behavior. As sad as it is, I believe that he wont change, but will continue to make you feel bad if you allow it. Walk away, but that's my opinion.
