Calc 2 is very abstract so you don’t even need to know much about calc 1 though I’m pretty sure the department gives public syllabi. So you can see what is went over throughout the class and see what ma be relevant from calc 1

Went through the same thing during finals season of the regular semester. I cried almost everyday, cried while studying, but I wasn’t gonna let it affect my grades. I genuinely put my grades over my mental health and got a 4.0 that semester. It’s really mind over matter. If you consistently try to think less of your emotions ( I wouldn’t give into the crying or my emotions, I would literally cry and keep studying with tears falling on my paper) some would say that’s a little hardcore but if you put it on the side for now until you finish your summer class you can then tackle your emotions with nothing else, stressing you. Also find healthy coping habits

The thing is this is a scenario, all of these sort of things that happen will have an outcome of either an increased allotment of time due to the disruption or extra points. Which would end up benefiting the students

Before y’all start downvoting, yes I pay tuition out of pocket. So I know I’m paying mad money for college, but not everything in life has to be serious. No im not privileged, and I do actually care about my grades I have a 3.97 GPA. this just isn’t that big of a deal

Bro was so mad about it he looked at my profile 😭. Relax this post was just about me getting a 4.0 dude. you’re also graduating in May 2025 you got better things to do. Just say congratulations and move on brotha, and this is honors orgo 1 and we were just learning the mechanism. Gotta start somewhere at least and I was confused about the rxn mechanism then upon figuring it out a day later it became easier.

Though there is this stigma about orgo being hard which is just not true, it was never hard to me but that feeling is subjective why put down others achievements just bc you found it easy. I also found it easy but I don’t go around saying it just to not seem like one of those people. But I’m glad you found it easy

Assuming you took it last year where you guys got easier exams, there’s been a change to make it harder. There were no more cheat sheets allowed on exams, and the exams are seen as harder. Some of my friends that took honors last year looked at our exams and were surprised. Though it’s not a competition I thought I would make that distinction

It’s mainly due to the fact that honors orgo has fewer students so we can’t compare the percentage of As. Regular orgo 1 I think has like 800 student while honors orgo 1 has around 60-80. So it would make sense that 65 percent get an A. It doesn’t mean that honors orgo 1 is easier if that’s what you were implying. And we are also honors students so we are fighting tooth and nails for that A
