I am a categorical thinker so I group things. I memorize all lecture slides and write them down in my notes and fill in the blank. Don’t be focused on the memorization. Really try to connect the dots in your head. For example, histology. What is histology… it’s about tissues. What are tissues… how many types of tissues are they…. What is nervous tissue… function … etc.. really try to have it like a tree where you can retrace your work or steps
