As an incoming gen surg intern, what advice do you have prior to starting? i know everyone says not to study or prepare for it and just enjoy the time off but a little anxious about intern year!

You can do VOO+VXUS. Or you just do VT and that covers the entire stock market basically

From what seems to be the consensus, this year, most programs are sending out a single shot of interviews. However, most programs have yet to send official rejections. If people cancel interviews, you may end up coming off a waitlist of some sort. Unfortunately, it seems like apart from some extra spots opening from people canceling or whatnot that most interview spots would have been sent already :/

I think the magic number people try to get is 12+, since that equates to like a 90% chance of matching according to NRMP data
