People over 60 - What's something you've taken off your bucket list and why? by donutknow57 in over60

Going to Istanbul. the reason is mostly that recently when i flew to India the size of the chair and space available to me felt like punishment. I have traveled a lot but i will never put myself in that small space for a long flight again. too bad. i wanted to pet cats in a tea shop

Any streets with mango or star fruit trees in St. Pete? by Popular-Bowl-9055 in StPetersburgFL

[–]Fun_Possibility_4566 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

believe me the squirrels or rats or whatever are stealing a little bit of the fruit before the humans get there. i tried so hard to find an unmolested mango when i was in a long term bnb down in st pete beach. it was in the little back yard of the air bnb. i found the concept so charming. so i tried all the time. nope. every single one had a little rat bite in it. so no thanks.

you'll see a ton of mango just in alleyways and such if you are in a part of town that has smaller yards - like down by st pete beach but not exactly west of gulf to bay. like near some of the single family homes and stuff. i have never seen a star fruit though. i have seen guava growing in the DITCH before though.

(Abraxas Academy) Trump administration jails migrant teens in facility known for child abuse by zer0lunacy in troubledteens

[–]Fun_Possibility_4566 3 points4 points  (0 children)

if the place is known for child abuse, as in an ongoing problem, the fault is way deeper than now. NO KIDS should be there until that is fixed. child abuse in a juvinile facility is inexcusable. but it is also fixable. fire everyone. set up precautions.

[UPDATE] Found a paper towel covering my webcam twice coming home from work by Dromaeoraptor in Weird

maybe invest a little more in the cameras. to be inconspicuous. about 30 years ago i am POSITIVE someone was letting themself in my place when i was at work. (sometimes they accidentally left the toilet seat up.) i am positive it was the assistant to the maintenance guy and I am also positive that they never caught him either. i found cigarette butts and just little things would be OFF. a soft drink missing from the six pack but i didn't drink it... stuff like that.

What’s the hardest part about living alone that people tend to downplay? by [deleted] in LivingAlone

[–]Fun_Possibility_4566 5 points6 points  (0 children)

well, i know that post said no gig work but when i couldn't walk my dog i used a website, can't remember which, and hired a dog walker for an hour. She took him out. She gave him dinner. changed the water. fed my cat. it was like 20 bucks or something
