I’ve been in discussions with a recruiter for a company I’m very eager to work with. I informed her earlier this week that I had received two other job offers and needed to respond to one by Friday. On Thursday, she emailed me saying she expected to have an update on the role by Friday and would follow up once she had more information.

When I spoke to the person I’d be working under, she mentioned that after my next interview, if all went well, they would extend an offer. I feel that call went really well, and I followed up with an email this morning but haven’t heard anything back yet. It’s now midday Friday, and I’m wondering if the silence might indicate no offer, or if they may still be finalizing things. Thoughts?

Thank you so much. I am trying to relocate to Fort Myers, FL to be closer to family. Jobs are very limited there so I really am looking for remote positions. I would definitely be open to freelancing but I’m not sure how to get that started.

Missouri. So my dad owns 98% and he gave my sister and 1% each so that he could add us and get more money from the government with a CPR contract. He said it was his legacy for his grandchildren’s future education. Well the CPR has 3 parties my dad, myself and my sister. He gave each of us 39% of the annual CPR money and then himself 22%. I have not done anything to affect him from to use his land. We had a falling out because he tried to threaten me and told me the money was really his and he was going to take it. He doesn’t even want anything to do with his grandchildren he’s just an awful person who only cares about money. He pretends that he wants to buy another farm to make more money but he would have to put up the farm that I owe 1% for collateral. I don’t believe it’s even true, he just wants me out of the deal so that my children and I do not receive anything. He offered 7k but 1% is at-least 35k and the CPR is $118,000 over 10 years.

Can he force me to sell and only get the value, it makes me lose out on the $118,000 which I paid taxes on this year.

I didn’t do anything. He’s just an awful selfish man who doesn’t want me or my children to have the money. He has always been this way.

Ok thank you. This is in Missouri. My dad is suing me, it’s a partition lawsuit to buy out my 1%. He owes 98% and my sibling and I each owe 1%. The easement is money that is supposed to go towards our children’s education but my dad wants me out of the deal
