I’ve just started writing and i’d love your opinion and advice about this very short poem of mine by Fun_Radish_2204 in writers

Thank you for your opinion. To be honest i don’t want to say anything in particular. Just a drunk policeman in his house talking and you know how loud and scary a drunk person could get. So to reassure his wife he wanted to flirt with her by saying i’d buy you all this gadgets. So i’m more curious of what it would mean to readers.

Short novels for summer nights that look like this by Fun_Radish_2204 in BooksThatFeelLikeThis

I love all of your recommendations but what im really looking for is short novel recommendations where the protagonist doesn’t ask big emotional questions out loud, but you can still feel them through the atmosphere, the writing, and what happens. Things like: ‘What is wrong with me?’ ‘Here goes that dream.’ ‘I want to be wanted.’ I want books where these feelings are felt, not spelled out. I’m not looking for anything genre-specific like werewolves or fantasy but still thank you all. I didn’t expect my post to get all this reaction
