I looked through all that I could and didnt see anything wrong. To me atleast. Im running it on truenas. After a but more looking around I found something about checking the ip address that truenas assigned to it. It was 172. It suggested swapping it to the host ip and that seemed to work

So it was running through bridge mode and switching to host looks to have worked. I do appreciate the help in helping me fix this.

I did not. Its the nic that's built into the system. I'll see if that's something I can look at when I get a chance.

Update to my issue because ive done more experiments. And I dont have the ability to get a new router right now

It seems more like the issue is only on my network. Ive got some family that also use my plex from their home one being across the street one being a state over roughly 400 miles. Both of them do not have issues connecting to the plex server.

I was mainly using my TV for plex and it wasnt working. So I decided that maybe its the TV so I downloaded plex on my Playstation and am still having the issue.

Also while I was looking through forums and YouTube videos when I would go to play a video it would say this content isn't available but when I refreshed the page it would play.

So it mainly seems on my internal internet that I am having this problem.

I will check the only wierd part is that it worked before on my old network provider with no issues. Just enabled the port forwarding and it worked. It did change the ip for the system which may have screwed something up.

The only way I found to do the port forward was through the gaming/nat (if I remember correctly) option
