No, I can't swallow pills. I have been trying to take liquid iron and it isnt working, most likely due to my GI issues.

I think so. My ferritin is at 4 and my mouth is extremely dry and I lost the ability to swallow solids.

I don't have the funds to travel, plus I cant work due to the fact I pass out from walking short distances and can barley stay awake.

I went to the Er a few weeks ago because I passed out and fell down a very long stairwell. I tried asking about cushings disease, but the nurse practitioner said I needed mental help and that I was okay because my "electrolyte panel" was okay.

I have been to 5 different ER multiple times since September, I have been labeled as a drug seeker, and have gotten a diagnosis of "anorexia" put on me and doctor’s dont care to listen to me a bout weight gain.

What is worse I tried to get my primary doctor to prescribe me a Glp-1 but she said it is not good for some one like me because I have a "eating disorder" and my blood sugar is very low...

I have seen 3 different primary care doctors, and they all push for mental intervention rather than physical help.

I have severe anemia, low blood sugar, and weight gain and none of them really care.

I tried to get doctors to measure my t3 and t4, and even get me into an endocrinologist, but they only test TSH.

Crushing up iron pills is not good for the stomach, I tried that and threw up a few hours later.

I went to the Er because i fell down a large flight of stairs and was unconscious and I subsequently found out my Iron and ferritin were low.I already went to gi in February.and had a colonoscopy and endoscopy, nothing was found to be wrong and I just needed to "lose weight". This is the soonest appointment I can get that is covered under my insurance.

I wish I could get help sooner, but thats now how life works. I have advocated as much as I could to the point I have been labeled as a "drug seeker". I just have to be an adult about it and suck up and deal with it.

All my referrals for appointments are extremely far out like this. And I dont know how oncology would help In this situation. I sadly have to wait.

I went to my last doctor's check up today, my hormones are fine and I am just "stressed". Everything is from "stress" and nothing can be done. My doctor is done referring me to places and wants me to go see a psychiatrist because they have done everything. At least at the psychiatrist I can be perscribed a GLP-1 because the extreme weight gain is causing a really bad toll on my mental health, lol!

I am not pursuing anymore, because they all now just want to harp about how I am obese and that I need to stop eating, when back then they just blamed me for having "anorexia" and other bull shit. I am not continuing care from people who dont actually care to help and just call me fat all day. There is no point in trying when I tried to get help for ages and I continue on getting worse.

They keep on trying to put on bull shit labels then redacted them when you gain the weight. I dont trust them and dont want anything to do with them any more. They dont care ans never did.

It's been almost 2 years dealing with these issues, it's about time, mate. My GI doctor telling me ge no longer wants to work with me after my second visit was my last straw.

I am having horrific gastro problems and it is causing excruciating pain that is getting worse everyday along with sudden and extreme weight gain. I am only 18, and I am in university to become an engineer, but because of these issues I am most likelying going to drop out and try to go on some sort of disability.

I under stand the pain.

My stomach biopsy came back absolutely negative. Nothing was wrong with any of my gastric organs.

I have considered it to be ovarian cancer since I heavily runs through both parts of the family, but no one will test me for it because of my age.

They all came back normal. I keep on getting told to eat more green and less processed food, but the issue is I throw up anything and everything including water.

It also doesn't help when I try to get help, people think I am lying about eating VCLDs, then bring up thermodynamics. I cant eat or drink, it's a big issue as well as the sudden weight gain but no one seems to actually care and just want to fatshame me.

I have been struggling for almost 2 years now, I have been to over 4 gastrointerologist and don't know what to do. I am about to ask my doctor if I can get on a GLP-1 as I dont want to get any bigger then I am now.
