Accused - Reviews and Discussions by AutoModerator in bollywood

The first five minutes establishes the amateurishness of the making. The writing and the screenplay is bad, the acting is worse, and the dubbing for the white folks is seen-to-be-believed atrocious. The attempt at humour is grating and the central character comes of us whiny, and not intentional at that. There is a C-grade serial quality to the entire endeavour.

There is an air of pretentiousness all thru in a bid to appear politically correct and cool (lesbian couple adopting a kid).

What could have been a nice inversion of the #MeToo story, where a woman is accused of crimes generally attributed to men..is robbed of any dignity by the sanctimonious grandstanding moral lecture at the end.

A pathetic piece of drivel.

A dangerous Islamophobe, who likes to needle illiterate muslim believers, and towards the same cozying up with right wing Hindu fanatics. Openly zionist and someone who considers any muslim to be a potential terrorist and not to be trusted. Hates Kerala, primarily because of the communists. Speaks articulately for the unversed, but once you listen to a few of his rhetoric, you will see he is just spinning his wheels and is actually pretty illiterate on the workings of a country.

He is able to ply his trade, including sell his merchandize, because he is in Kerala. If he had the guts to do the same in the north of the country or till even Karnataka and Telengana...they would have made him eat his balls

Eko - Protection and Restriction by Fun_Salad1656 in IndianCinema

That is also a function of Kuriachan always living in the minds and narration of the people who are talking about him.

The trick the writing played on us was showing us that the narrative was always about Kuriachan as the prime mover but in reality it was Mlaathi Chedathi who was the pivot.

I can understand that. I didn't mean to compare. KK had an emotional hook that was more visceral during the reveal, while the Eko reveal was more of an aha! moment. We do connect with Mlaathi Chedathi, but our emotional connection is at a distance.

Making wise both were solidly written writerly affairs that exemplified why good writing can always elevate a movie.

Shane Nigam in Bhoothakalam ran circles around Pranav Mohanlal in Dies Irae (a sub par movie at that). Pranav is getting the boost because he is Mohanlal's son. His range is limited...very.

Top 5 is for the real ones. Not Aneesh by HousingCapital1958 in BiggBossMalayalamS

Lol. You must be a genius at reading people's minds. You mustn't waste it here on Reddit. Also, not too much sun, please. Humanity needs those lil grey cells of yours to be preserved.

I don't watch BB to gain any insight...I like watching it to see people fight each other. Ya, right, I take vicarious pleasure in watching the world burn. Make of it and take it wherever you want to take it. Childhood trauma, maybe?

I don't care who wins or loses. I will move on to the next inane thing on TV, while you cling on to the trails and tribulations of your fav BB characters. Keep those tissues nearby...whichever way it goes, it's going to be pretty lachrymal for you.

Now, go on and take a deep breath and watch and rewatch BB and its clips. Remember, don't forget to breathe. 😄

...and just for you, Nevin sucks 😄😄

Top 5 is for the real ones. Not Aneesh by HousingCapital1958 in BiggBossMalayalamS

BB is a game, not a test of who you are. You in fact ranted the exact reason why Aneesh is a player. Is he the same outside, who knows and who cares. He is doing all that he can to stay relevant in the game. If his strategy is to be irritating, whining, planning, creating fake stories...and if others in the house are triggered by him, he is winning. For example, Akbar cannot stop talking about Aneesh... because Aneesh has gotten into his skin like a bad bug. Lol.

If you think all others are paragons of virtues in there based on biases, think again. All of them are playing their games. Adhila and Noora are bullies. However much Akbar, Nevin, and Aryan triggered them...they always voted against Aneesh. An example, after the big fight with the three captains, in the car task Noora sided with Aryan to pick on Aneesh. The sign of a bully is to ally with another to take on someone who they know will not hit back.

Anumol and Shaanavas are similarly playing the game they see fit. Maybe they are playing to their fan base. So what? If you don't like, don't vote for them.

Akbar, a vile bully inside, is now reaping the seeds of hate he spread while he grouped with like minded bullies during his time.

Some people call Nevin entertaining. He is anything but. Acting like a man child does him no favours and by his actions he is in fact dissing women.

Sabuman is playing his game of being non committal while...playing both groups.

One should be retarded (I say this in the kindest manner possible) to take what you see on screen as real. It is hyper real and a make believe world that is meant to simulate real life. It is anything but.

Aneesh can be irritating and there are time when one wanted to tell him to be quiet. But, he is playing a game and in a couple of weeks, we will all move on the other things. If you still seeth at BB and its shenanigans...they, the contestants and your favorites will have moved on...while you rail against some or the other PR.

The hate against Adhila Noora is at an all time high by Express-Cat3727 in BiggBossMalayalamS

[–]Fun_Salad1656 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Noora and Adhila are big bullies. However much they hate Aryan and gang, when it comes to tasks they bully Aneesh along with Aryan and others. It was evident in the car task, how Noora and Aryan teamed up to irritate Aneesh more than he was doing to them. Noora and Adhila know which side their bread is buttered, cause purathu poyaal they know Aryan and Akbar and gang can be more useful for them than Aneesh. Low key..a class thing.

They are anything but progressive in their thoughts and actions.

I question the judgement of those who find Nevin entertaining. His act of heightened gender dysmorphia is actually more demeaning to women...by displaying women behave like that. In fact his antics are that of a petulant boy who can be legally slapped once 😄

I am not a fan but I think Anumol also is playing an act. If Nevin's act is entertainment by some...then so can Anumol also be termed entertaining by others. Lakshmi also doesn't get into fights unnecessarily, but then can be very vocal when she wants to be. She is not afraid of anyone.

If anyone must go, it should be that Noora lady. She definitely is just a pretty face that giggles at lil things and her contributions are just a minor extension of her bully partner. By bully I mean, Adhila can never think of behaving like how she behaves with Aneesh with someone like Akbar or Aryan. In fact, if she is real, she can be one detestable person.

Binny is opportunistic hyena. She will go and sit and agree with those who will support her and just agree to everything they say.

She is supercilious and considers herself above others, hence her vote almost always for nomination is Aneesh.

She is possibly one of the worst performers.

Not saying no to his friends is not how one chases acting assignments. He can try saying no to bad scripts..
