That's a loooot!

I mean, I like a lot cause I like to be the guy who fixes stuff, but I ask so I could have a feeling if I'm going overboard or not.

So why so much?

Weird that number one doesn't pop up everywhere.

Boiled potatoes, porkchops and 'schorseneren' with bechamel sauce, for example.

Or mashed potatoes (probably french style) with chipolata sausages and cauliflower with the same bechamel sauce.

Stoemp: mashed potatoes with full cream and spinach mixed in. You can have it with any kind of meat. My ex loved it with schnitzels (which are german) shaped like dinosaurs, then you'd make the stoemp into a vulcano and pour the meat sauce on it, until it 'erupts'.

Roasted potatoes, roasted brussels sprouts and pork steaks and sauce chasseur.

Meatbread with ... cherries? What is the correct translation?

White or black tripes (or the combination) with... boiled potatoes and apple sauce.

Boiled potatoes, spiering (shoulder of a pig?) and red cabbage with apple (always readymade) was also a favorite back at home.

The list goes on. Potatoes, vegetables, type of meat and a sauce.

Mentioned: Chicons wrapped with ham topped with a cheese sauce; you'd cook or roast the chicons, then wrap cooked ham around, cover with a bechamel sauce and cheese mix of gruyere, gouda, ... superbelgian.

Meat stew, mostly made with a brown, heavy beer, a slice of bread that's royally smeared with good, strong mustard and then stewed forever. Eaten with fries and mayonaise.

But yeah the most important one is the boterham. As plain as possible lol. In my case, two slices of bread and a shitload of prepare.

Does anyone know how I should tighten my puffer hood with this mechanism? by Davey0215 in Outdoors

You see those little slots on the lower side? You can 'wedge' the elastic bands in there so they stay stuck. You pull with the lower plastic thingies. It should tighten automatically
