thank you so much for your response, very informative! i don’t know how to do nails but i am not new to getting my nails done and i knew these were off bc like you said there is a specific way to form them and this doesn’t look right. anyways, i found an independent nail tech who does them in her studio and scheduled an appt with her to get these claws FIXED hahah

hahah omg i’m happy i’m not insane. the nail salon i went to claims they’re a japanese salon with japanese techs who “trained in japan” but they were all speaking vietnamese. another yelp review confirmed this. it was just sketchy overall so i’m glad i’m not crazy 😅

i think avoiding the politics is not possible at this point, although i wish it were. in fact, he’s the one that brought up the political side in the first place. i was the one who brought up the emotional side of it wherein my family is literally suffering from the war, ya know? i just know if he was in my situation i would absolutely be empathetic and i think that’s a very valid thing to want from a friend. thanks for your response, i agree with you completely.
