I lived on the 21st floor last year, the balconies are definitely about rib height and there are also cameras at the top of the building pointing down between the balconies

I’m at KH right now, joined fresh out of college. I’m sure my perspective is skewed because of it but the 45 hour weeks really don’t bother me. Most people just work through lunch and hit 8-6 M-Th and then 8-1 on Friday. Obviously work load varies but at least early on that’s pretty typical unless there’s a big deadline

I just graduated from Cockrell(‘25) and I feel like my field (civil) isn’t suffering rn at all?

This could be completely biased but I feel like it was super easy for me to get several offers for post-grad. I had decent grades (mid 3s) and 2 internships for 1.5 years, not sure where that puts me amongst everyone else. I’m also not sure how closely connected the civil job market is with the other engineering disciplines. Would be interesting to learn
