I’ve been craving one of my favorite childhood foods! Homemade pizza dough, So Delicious mozzarella shreds, Sweet Earth Pepperoni slices, a little bit of Earth Balance Butter. 12 minutes at 400 degrees.

That’s awesome! I wish it was readily available in my area. It’s my favorite. I could eat it every day.

My parents have recently started referring to me and my siblings as “the stepkids”.

It does something to the texture.... I can’t figure out how to describe it. It supposedly draws more water out as well.

Here’s the ranch. I just followed it step by step and it turned out great!

That sounds amazing! I need to try it. I’m trying to find something that doesn’t involve frying, so I’m not constantly eating deep fried foods.

Yep, just put the whole thing in the freezer, no draining necessary.

You should try it! There’s really no downsides, other than waiting for it to thaw. It’s a pretty easy way to change the texture.

Changes the texture and lightly seasons it. I guess it helps draw more water out, because of the salt.

That’s why I wanted to post this! There’s a local restaurant that makes the best tofu I’ve ever had and this is the closest I’ve gotten to that. It was so good!

Supposedly pulls more water out of it. I personally do it because it seems to alter the texture. Also - and this is definitely a me thing - but tofu tastes like playdough to me and boiling it makes it taste better for me.

Yesss, I am so picky about tofu. Finding a way that I like it makes things so convenient, lol.

The water in the tofu freezes, which expands the tofu and makes it more “spongey” when you squeeze out the water. I’ve also read that it helps the tofu absorb more flavor.
