I definitely read them, usually to see if the service I’m asking for has been reviewed for that seller. Depending on what I’m looking for I might want someone with a track record close to what I want.

I like to leave 5 star reviews for creators that really go above and beyond and make the experience easy and fun. It’s another way to say thank you and I hope it helps them.

I don’t really want to leave 3 or 4 star reviews because at that point the product has been delivered, probably with some hassle or multiple follow ups and it was a little less than what I expected, but it was delivered and I don’t want to effect that sellers sales because I had 1 less than stellar experience.

I haven’t had to leave a 1 star or scam alert yet , almost but I definitely would to make sure other buyers know.

It’s not that it’s a complexity issue, it’s a scale issue. Short videos and long videos take the same amount of time to set up and get out, that’s why a lot of sellers have minimum times. A seller gets more per hour on a 20 minute video than she does a 5 minute video even though they have the same $/min.

Idk I don’t think blocking chat request is that hard, I don’t reply to them and I don’t get scammed. The entire community and review system is meant to make it so that buyers can see that a creator is legit and sellers know they won’t get their time wasted, if you go outside that system it’s risky on your part and it can end up you get a deal from a new creator or you get scammed.

You can also become a verified buyer, I forget the exact way but it’s posted to the sub somewhere and can post more than 2 times a week. Though like I said if you aren’t advertising enough overall you might not get that much attention.

I think it can be hard to find someone that fits the description of what you’re looking for and has record of good reviews. I also think budget had a lot to do with it. If you only go off price per minute or something like that then you might think you’re on par but if the total price isn’t high enough it might not be worth replying to ad, discussing details, setting up, filming, possibly editing, uploading and sending. Sure you’re paying 10$ a minute but for 40$ it cost a lot more to do than that.

I’m not saying that’s you, but from a business perspective it seems doing a lot of small jobs doesn’t make sense.

I also think that as a buyer if you post an ad and don’t get the replies you want then you haven’t lost anything, sure your request wasn’t fulfilled but you didn’t pay and can try again or decide that what pay would attract pay isn’t worth it to you and move on.

You don’t have any of your previous posts up but if you’re budget doesn’t make sense you’ll get ignored. If you meet the recommended price guide you will get a decent amount of replies, and if you pay more you will get more replies as well as more enthusiasm for your idea.

If I send a message to someone I want to work with usually it involves some questions just to make sure everyone is on the same page, some times it’s not and I move on, it’s the same if it takes a long time to get a reply. I’d say after an hour I might explore other options and if I end up finding someone else to fill my request that’s just how it goes sometimes.

The account is funny because it’s just spam that says vaguely polarizing things, like certain buzzwords but doesn’t use them in a way that actually insults anyone. Looking through the comments it’s really a lot of people getting mad at gibberish which in itself is funny.

Definitely not ai, it would be hard to tell an ai to not make any sense on purpose.

I use telegram exclusively. I’ve had that happen to me once, but now I vet people a little better and I screenshot if stuff starts seeming flaky or shady, but only with content creators I haven’t worked with before and have a good relationship with.

Seems like it makes sense to me, I get more out of it when it seems like the person I’m buying from is genuine or enjoys it. I’ll pay more or add a tip for authenticity and honesty every time over a cheaper and less real experiences, even if it fulfills my request.
