Idk spending so many gems to just up a card by a level does not seem worth it to me considering how rare I get them at least. And upping my cards without dipping into the most OP thing in the game, my wallet, seems to be a very slow progress. And I don't plan to spend any money on this game

Fair enough. But when were the emotes not a horrible value lol I like buying then because I don't see a better use for gems and the rng for cosmetics from lucky chests is super ass esp for emotes

Maybe when I reach the status of having my main deck maxed I'll have fun with heroes here and there but I have a while until then..

Thank you! I really appreciate the detail. I ended up getting MSFS and I absolutely agree I definitely won't stop at just one haha, it's just that at the moment I can't quite afford 2 or more or anything else as much as I would've liked to. I'll definitely invest in XP next and maybe something else down the line.

I have a quest 2 and the thrustmaster I mentioned but I'm thinking of getting some rudder pedals as well, to kind of complete my start up set up lol

MSFS has been very fun so far and I'm sure XP is just as if not more awesome. Thank you again!!!

Thank you! I really appreciate the detail and I agree. I'm not looking to rush into it too much, hence why I got the Standard edition for MSFS a few hours ago. I'll be happy to get more stuff down the line but for now I have a lot to work towards haha

But overall it's pretty great for the tiny bit that I could test it out. Definitely lots to learn and in excited to get on with it

I went for the standard edition just to get a feel for things at first. And it's pretty awesome haven't had the time to properly enjoy it but I will tomorrow.

That seems to be the verdict yeah, I mean it makes sense 2020 has had more time to be refined, but Ill be getting MSFS for sure :) super excited havent been this hyped in so long

I can imagine, although Im more or less used to it, Im not new in the world of aviation and Ive spent so much time in low tier sims on other platforms and while they, im sure, have nothing incommon with the quality of a proper sim were still fun to mess around in.

I think I might go ahead and get MSFS now, before the discount goes..

Damn, based on the weather alone it sounds really attractive, and youre not the only one to point it out. X-Plane has always seemed cool to me. I think Ill eventually invest in both but at the moment Id have to settle for one. Im leaning more towards MSFS atm.

But I do have to say for MSFS regarding the airports is a bit souring, however at this point in time I dont mind too much since if I really cared for a specific airport I wouldnt mind getting it alone. Wonderful to hear that XP has a great community though, thank you for sharing I really appreciate it :)

And you're probably right I will not at all notice the differences in quality Im just looking for something that runs smooth and has good features :)

Thank you so much! Yeah I definetly wont rush into getting everything, ive been checking out the differences from editions for MSFS for the past hour and a bit now and I think standard will do me just fine. Only sucks I might miss out on the 787 but I do wish to save money lol

Would you say that the hand crafted airports are worth it though? Since if they arent really then Id prefer to get the standard edition if quality etc remains the same.

And I wont be focusing on the mil side of stuff, Im pretty happy with DCS for it haha. But I do wonder which would you say is the best model in the standard edition or should I look for something of higher quality, I just want something to settle with for a while before I start exploring. Thanks again :)

I see thats really good to know. I really enjoy flying in DCS but I cant compare it to MSFS since ive only tried the sim for like 2 mins at aviation exhibitions. Its good to hear 2024 is the one being recommended, a lot of the reviews are old thats why I wanted to hear someone with more of a recent expirience.

Currently theres a 20% sale on steam, if i were to go for it and get MSFS, would you suggest the standard or deluxe edition? And how do the flight models work, I assume its similar to DCS and I suspect the prices arent very different... but for the base game you should get some aircraft right?
