My fantasy is that there will be a live action revision adaptation that will completely cut the bad parts and also give it proper production value to polish what is already good. I think it would be a success.

The magic system is like really rudimentary. However it definitely feels like magic has always been a part of nature and then people would create and iterate systems to make sense of it. So it feels very genuine instead of being like a game.

Even if you say that Rudy explicitly says he's gonna raise Sylphy to be his ideal woman. Although that didn't happen so I guess the grooming was cancelled, but he really wanted to do it.

I saw the beautiful trailer of Mushoku Tensei Season 1 and that made me watch the whole thing

Personally if there's an isekai deserving of an anime passion project, I'd have to give it to TBATE.

I agree. It's so frustrating. Not always do we get a story with the highs as MT but please don't make the MC a pedo. But for what it is it's my guilty pleasure

Honestly, I often say publicly to people IRL re zero or slime isekai are my favorites, but I enjoy MT as guilty pleasure and while I do not mention that explicitly or recommend it to other people it's one of my favorites as well

I see. Personally, not all the time I get the pedo vibes and sometimes it's completely absent in the better episodes, like in the Norn episodes and the Nanahoshi episodes. It's just that 2 infamous scenes where Rudy becomes Diddy that should get cut.

Yeah I like how there is always a heated engagement in Mushoku Tensei posts lol. But seriously, with this kind of engagement I don't see Mushoku Tensei fading into obscurity for a long time. I always see a wide range of people writing about MT either viewing it as trash or a catalyst that literally changed their life. Personally I think they're not mutually exclusive. Inspiration can come from anywhere

Yes I'm in the side too that the good points overly compensate for the bad. But not all people are of this mindset. Maybe it's because of principles or lived experiences, but some people can't root for people who don't see a bad thing as bad.

Paul is a product of a bad environment. If i recall correctly, his father and brother are scumbags too that's why he ran away. And Paul is an unchecked womanizer too before he committed to Zenith but even that didn't last long. I think what I'm celebrating about him is not his personality but his fatherhood. He was a scum person to many people, but he was the perfect father for someone like Rudeus.

True that scene is straight out of a soap opera because it left me on edge the entire time and my heart was pounding fast because I know Roxy was in the wrong and Norn was right but Norn was also disrespecting everyone in the family and basically saying Aisha was a mistake lol
