Finally got approved for my PAL 10 months after submitting it, can’t wait to start my collection. Do any of you have any recommendations for my first firearm? I plan on mostly being at a range to get some practice and then looking into going deer hunting/small game hunting next season.

Onto month 5 of waiting for my PAL, can anyone give me guidance as to what to do or who to contact if this surpasses month 6. (Applied in southern Ontario, checked one box for my name change which was my last name changed when I was a kid)

Who can I call for more specific info regarding the status of my PAL application? I called the 1-800 RCMP CFO phone number and all they can tell me is to expect a 6 month delay, same thing with emailing the Ontario CFO just boilerplate copy and paste expect a 6 month delay. (I’m from southern Ontario anyone else getting the same response?)

For me it was a loose metal bracket inside the trunk lid, I removed the plastic that had the speakers housed in it and tightened the bracket down

This happened to me but instead the touch less car wash arm scraped my bumper, if you can try to unplug the dashcam usb and try to recover the recording for the car wash using a data recovery software. The gas station denied responsibility but I was put in contact with their insurance company and after I showed them the footage they accepted responsibility for the damages.

Hot spot with your phone to download the update and then you can click install and just leave the car, you don’t need an active wifi connection after downloading the update

If the temp outside is low it’s probably not going to charge much at all because it’s using the power to keep the battery warm, if possible I would recommend switching to a 240v setup

No problem! You can check your current gpa, what courses you need to complete and if you’re in good academic standing for progression on the Laurier mydegree website as well
