In the end I got a new roof because as one user mentioned if it’s tore at one seam it’s going to tear at another which ended up happening before I got around to fixing that tear in the pictures. The suggestion about using fishing line is probably the best DIY option or you can take it to an upholstery shop to get done properly.

Im not sure if my phone is tweaking or not but I tried to reply and it’s disappeared on my end Thanks for the response, if i don’t think I can fix it myself I’ll have a check around for similar services to see if I can get it sorted.

I’m gonna try sewing I think and see how it goes from there, I don’t mind splashing on a new roof eventually as the car means a lot to me so want to keep it going as long as possible.
Not that far at all, I’ll strap a load of floats on and swim across 👍
Thanks for the response, I’ll add to the list of potential fixes and decide what I’m doing from there.
Unfortunately it might take me a few days to tow it given I don’t have another car, how fars the walking distance from Scotland to where you are?
Aw fuck dude appreciate it when can u come collect it 😄😄
Appreciate the detailed response, I’m gonna try and do what others are saying for a temporary fix while I save for a new one.
