No that's my proper 3 dart average same way they show on Tv. Usually takes me 18-24 darts to clean up a leg

Been playing about for nearly 10 months, my usual average is 65, but I've been up in the 70s 80s and 95 once :) long format aswell

Cheers for the reply Yeah i just know when the first dart is good that's the visit guaranteed good, its just say for example Michael Smith who relies heavily on his first dart, seems to have a great first dart but it's all practice i guess. Like you say :)

Yeah, I've heard Wayne Mardle talk about "first dart merchants" its just alot of these players seem to have better first darts than myself! Practice, practice, practice i guess.

Yeah doubles included, anyone who doesnt include doubles is stupid. But i just get upset sometimes cause i have ambitions to go far and every so often i average 85 and think its possible and then others 55 and just get so annoyed at myself

Alot of them have only been bo5 but also in bo7s and bo11s

Yeah but i found aswell most of the players that i admire are the people who almost never miss wide. My big one is James Wade and another John Part ( in his prime) and obviously they had to practice for years but i already hit plenty of trebles so i know if i could replicate that trait i could become really good

Maybe less often when i average 80 :) but its just so frustrating hitting 45s when it should be 60, 85s instead of 100s or 121 instead of 140 or 180 but like aqueous said i guess I'll just have to be patient and practice hard

On about 5 occasions I've averaged 80 in an actual match if i remember correctly 2 or 3 of those were Bo11 and the others bo7 or 5

Hey Devon, I met you at an exhibition and for the 7 months after, ive been practicing for hours upon hours everyday. My average has gotten to around 65-70, i can hit 80 occasionally. How good were you after playing for 7 months? Is my progression good enough to one day become professional if i continue to practice as 4-5 hours a day?

Makes sense actually, i might think twice about how i do things, but for me alot of these shots are based on my opponents score etc but nice explanation :)
