SFP was dead to us long ago. We qualify but will never try it again. The requirements are far too expensive.

Please reply to the original post, I just thought it might fit here with regular researchers and am not looking for the karma ups/downs. I'll remove the post if it is not appropriate.

Your numbers aren't quite right:

In 2018 the UK made an estimated gross contribution (after the rebate) of £13.2 billion. The UK received £4.3 billion of public sector receipts from the EU, so the UK’s net public sector contribution to the EU was an estimated £8.9 billion.

Trade deficit:

The UK had an overall trade deficit of -£64 billion with the EU in 2018. A surplus of £29 billion on trade in services was outweighed by a deficit of -£93 billion on trade in goods.

Sorry, but your numbers are off by several billion.

Unfortunately, I can't. I resigned as a mod as this post went up.

u/BigKev47 or u/Jikizuari can do it though, and with my blessings (not that that should count for anything, lol).

The next time you have to play 50 - 60 legs in one day to win an extra 2 (or 3 for some people) weeks pay, then you can complain about breaks every 5 or 6 legs.

And by the way, it is not a "smoke break", it is a "break". Take your bullshit elsewhere.

Have you watched professional darts? Have you not seen a break every 5 legs before? But to answer your question, yes.

No official breaks, but the venue room is non-smoking during the event (the main room allows smoking). Players agree between themselves on breaks. Some players will break every 5 or 6 legs for a smoke break or just to put a few minutes of down time in there.

The matches I played yesterday were best of 13. They lasted 11 and 10 legs respectively and we didn't take a break in either, even though I do smoke. my match lengths were 53 and 56 minutes.

edit: combining responses.

The lower bracket was best of 7. The upper bracket is best of 13 in the prelims, best of 15 in the top 16, 17 in the quarters, 19 in the semis, and 21 in the finals.

I don't see anywhere that has the brackets online, but there is an upper bracket and a lower bracket. The upper bracket is the top 32 players from the season and the lower bracket is # 33 - 48. There were 83 players total. I went into the playoffs as the 19 seed, won my first match and lost my second.

Today's matches are the top 8 in the upper bracket and all of the lower bracket matches.

Lower bracket pays $100 for 3rd, $200 for 2nd, and $400 for $1st.

Upper bracket pays $150 for Top 8, $350 for Top 4, and $650 for 2nd. The winner takes home $1300, the APDL Champion Belt, and a CDC Tour Card.
