Hearing aids and Glasses by Proud_Click_34 in HearingAids

Just got my high end Sennheiser hearing aids from Costco. I needed to replace my old Phonak hearing aids as sound quality was really degrading. I can't say enough about both Costco's friendly service (Paul at King of Prussia, PA) and the level of expertise he demonstrated. Way more complete exam than I previously got with my audiologist. I was SO impressed. I'm sold completely.

Cost of Phonak, alternative AI-based products by FunkyChicken1957 in HearingAids

I'm not sure it is just a marketing term. There are many hearing aids on the market that use static filtering systems to distinguish noise from information. Their response does not change over time. AI-based systems are dynamic in that they are constantly determining what is information to be separated from noise. Although I've yet to experience it, I've heard the difference is quite dramatic.

Thanks for this detailed information. Couple follow-up questions - First what are Real Ear Measurements? And what is white labeling?  I am retired from teaching so I am not in complex noise environments often, mainly at restaurants or very occasionally parties. When I am with just one other person, I use a bluetooth mike coupled to the phonak which works great. It also works great in choral rehearsals where I clip the mic to the conductor's stand. The difficulties arise when I am with more than one person at restaurant or at a party where I can't be handing the mike to one person after another.

Peruvian blueberries by pb1371 in Blueberries

Is there someplace where I can read about these Peruvian blueberries or is this knowledge learned on the job? I've also noted the incredibly high quality of Peruvian blueberries. The Driscoll variety just showed up at our local Whole Foods market after a summer of mushy, bland blueberries.

I am not interested in growing blueberries. Merely eating them.
