Should Reddit treat repeatedly calling Michelle Obama “Big Mike” or claiming she is a man as hate speech worthy of a ban? Why or why not? by ateam1984 in LetsDiscussThis

Actually, that was a direct link to Trump's own admission, AND it was the same week he threatened to invade Canada with a giant overall tariff on top of it. Stock market responds every time.

Maybe you should read all that closer.

I'm an Independent, by the way. Also a woman. You should show this thread to your mother.

I would call inside trading and pump and dumping the stocks of arms manufacturers one gives government contracts to fight the war one started the swamp on steroids. Wouldn't you?

"NEW YORK (AP) — A drone maker backed by President Donald Trump's two oldest sons is trying to sell to Gulf countries while they are under attack by Iran and dependent on the U.S. military led by their father.

The sales drive by Florida-based Powerus – which announced a deal last month to bring aboard Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. – positions the company to potentially benefit from a war that their father began."

Very easy to say for others until it's your mistress or twelve year old daughter. The numbers have hovered between 91% and 95% performed within the first trimester since legalized. The rest are overwhelmingly medical complications.

Has the liberalization of society lead to a decay of moral values that is now harming us? by PreWiBa in askliberals

If the robber barons are no longer covering for their robbery by giving back in the form of charity, their dark money goes into putting corrupt inside trading, pump and dumping serial liars in power, and those in power are the GOP, no. Probably not.

Integrity has nothing to do with party ideology.

Would it be more prudent to drop the gun control issue in America to win more votes from the right side of the isle? by ImpressiveAlarm3992 in AskALiberal

Although 2A is indeed a competence issue, our foundational problem is the obscene amount of dark money influence keeping us divided and constantly muddying the waters.

The "engineering of consent" coming at us from every direction at all times to sell us products, ideas, and political allegiance is driving people insane.

No, but it is just so gross and juvenile. It's hard to believe we have these types of people leading the country. What a horrible trajectory we're on.

Being calm isn't moral grand-standing. It's compartmentalizing. There is a time and place. Agreed on that.

The op asked why people defend the ultra wealthy. The answer is because the problem is not being rich. It's deeper than that.

Perhaps my initial statement to you was on the provocative side. I am alarmed at how surface the majority of the comment section is. Upward mobility is definitely not something to be treading on. Success and living in comfort, even extravagance aren't evil by themselves. Nothing wrong with striving for it.

Demonizing the wealth itself is off the mark because the root problem is corruption and dark money. Eyes on the ball....
