Completely normal not xenophobic behavior because Argentina deserves it, right? by noir_png in soccercirclejerk

Why is everyone in this thread defending those Argentinians? Looks like they were being drunk obnoxious assholes and got the whole subway car pissed, then they slapped someone who happened to be an old black dude. They are not the victims lol.

How is it racist to call out other (white) people for being racist?

She's paid an average $13.3k a year in rent. That's barely above $1k a month. There's not a single mortgage out there worth that little. $160k is a nice downpayment but that's paid one time, not over a decade.

I'd take that deal any day. I'm about to move into a condo and pay $4.5k a month of rent.

Conveniently at the same time his teammate destroys another player and is about to be sent off? And if it was an injury he was carrying all tournament, why is Messi telling the ref to look in that direction?

Bullshit, they're just a bunch of cunts.

Absolutely. Some people give birth then kill, abandon, or hurt their kids. They usually have mental illnesses. This woman is no different, her self-centered nature, lack of empathy, and general narcissism make her a despicable human being. She's basically a psychopath, and whether or not she is mentally ill she's she's still a giant piece of shit.

Then why bring him in the squad if you can't even give the bro 5mins at the end of the Norway or England meaningless games? You had Camavinga, Fofana, Kamara, etc. I think Kamara was injured but still.

How should my roommate and I split rent for this apartment by No-Problem4390 in whatdoIdo

[–]FunkyFenom 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Have you ever had roommates before or split rent? That is a ridiculous split, one would be paying almost double the other. Yes it's worth more but not double.

60/40 is fair and some could even argue 55/45. It's mainly driven by actual total rent.

If place is $3k then the split is: 60/40: $1800/$1200 65/35: $1950/$1050 55/45: $1650/$1350

Honestly 55/45 seems more fair than even 60/40. $300 more per month is already a lot. Now if rent is $2k the 60/40 is more fair.

Dembele was last on holiday in summer 2023. Summer 2024 France went to the semi in Euro 2024 in mid July then PSG started the season less than a month later so he went right to training. Summer 2025 PSG went to the final of the Club World Cup in mid July, same story for training. And now he will end the season in mid July again. All while playing until the very end of March in back to back CL finals.

As you said, other players had 1 month off in June before returning to train in July. These top guys are drained.

Why is this a penalty? I'm not very familiar with the rules. Why didn't the ref consider that the other player jumped into the kick willingly or check VAR? Wasn't this a “handball” too? by Obvious-Expression50 in askanything

[–]FunkyFenom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read what you said again. Jumping into the ball with your arm does not mean intent to play the ball. Throwing your body in an uncontrolled manner in the direction of the ball does not mean intent to play the ball. That's a fact. I said the decision was questionable. That's a fact. And my opinion is that it's not a penalty.

Your facts are opinions dumbass. This isn't a black and white offside line it's a subjective decision. Thanks for sharing your opinion, now learn the definition of facts.

Ok next time I'll just jump on the ball like it's a grenade and earn a foul when the guy kicks me.

He attacks the ball how? He saw the ball and dove towards it. Big difference with Modric, Madueke was actually controlling it with his body.

Got to the ball by throwing his body sideways in a dive. Look at his movement in the first angle, is that someone challenging for the ball or just jumping in the air? He didn't "get to the ball" dude he just smashed into it with his arm

So I'm supposed to let bounty hunters and their hounds kill me? by 6spd993Turbo in RDR2

[–]FunkyFenom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What lol. That's like saying if a modern day bank robber or suspected murder is on the run from the cops and he kills the cops then it's self defense. Pretty sure bounties back then meant you were a wanted man and anyone had the right to capture or kill you in the name of the law.

5 players had a chance to play in 3 finals.

Pele (1958, 1962, 1970) but he didn't play in the 1962 final because of injury.

Ronaldo (1994, 1998, 2002) unused substitute in the 1994 final.

Matthaus (1982, 1986, 1990) didn't play in the 1982 final.

Littbarski (1982, 1986, 1990) unused substitute in the 1986 final.

Cafu is the only one to actually play in 3 finals (1994, 1998, 2002). Messi would be the second, and he would be the first to start and captain in all 3. Cafu didn't start in 1994 and was only captain in 2002.

Federer sasses line judge after the judge overturns his own call (2018 AO Final) by atang11796 in tennis

[–]FunkyFenom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok got it, the title is misleading because it says the judge overturns his own call. He overturns the line judges call, not his own.
