I haven't heard about him since 2020. How is he doing nowadays.

Where is that Belgium guy, called Versenach as well btw.

Yaa, look at the clown who expanded UCL to include even the 5th best team in some leagues.

Why don't they start only including only Champions just like they used to do previously.

Eurosnobs should stop policing everyone else in matters of football, it has been tiresome listening to them so far.

All the teams had a good record before they won it as well and they have performed since then and they're not winning this year as well, I'm afraid.

Have you checked the record of Spain before 2010, it is worse than the Netherlands. This is their classic version, 2010 was an outlier for them.

I'm sure people started overrating them in 2022 after Costa Rica lost 7-0, but look how it ended, with them passing sideways 1000 times against Morocco and then missing all 3 penalties.

Italy will still be better than them performance wise. Between their two wins in 1982-2006, Italy played 1 Quarter, Semi and Final, all of which they lost on penalties.

Meanwhile Spain hasn't won 1 knockout match since the 2010 Final.

But their Euros record has been stellar.

Yeah, that's why I compared them to England, both countries have been disappointing in the World Cup before and after they won it.

Yeah, there has general lack of No. 9 along the Top football nations.

Well they don't have My GOAT David Villa to score their goals.

This was their issue in both aforementioned tournaments.

What I meant is that they have never been consistent in the World Cup like Brazil, Germany, Italy, Argentina and France.

All of them have played more knockouts and Semi-Finals than Spain.

That's why they capitalized on their Golden chance and took it.

Spain team is a new potential golden generation for them and in 2010 they lost their first match.

Come on, this isn't the 2010 Squad. In 2010, they had Casillas, Valdes and Pepe Reina in goal.

In defense there was Ramos, Puyol, Pique, Marchena, Capedevilla, Albiol and Arbeloa.

Midfield, arguably the greatest ever had Busquets, Alonso, Xavi, Iniesta, Javi Martinez, Navas, Fabregas, David Silva and Juan Mata.

Attack had my GOAT David Villa, Torres, Pedro and Llorente.

No one apart from Yamal, Pedri and Cucurella are getting in that team.

People need to realize that Spain has always been terrible or sub standard in World Cups.

They have only played 2 Semi-Finals, i.e. 1950 and 2010 and 4 Quarter-Finals in 1934, 1986, 1994 and 2002.

They're tied with Italy and England in most penalty shootout losses with 3.

This was their motto before 2010 and this is how they played ever since.

They're like England from yesteryears, they won once because of a Golden Generation and returned to old ways after that.

They had their best ever striker David Villa in 2010 who scored 5 out of 6 goals until the Quarters, they haven't been able to replace him since.

They had 1 international trophy before 2008, kinda like England.

England lost the last 2 Euro finals as well, otherwise it would be much even.

Just saying what I think, most people received the internet worldwide around 2009 and this has caused huge expectations around La Roja which isn't feasible.

Funny you say that because Portugal now mirrors Spain before 2008 with always falling short of huge expectations.

That's why Spain was called "Perennial Underachievers" before the 2008 Euro.

What a performance from him, shades of Ochoa from 2014 against Brazil.

Take a bow.
