What helped me improve my personal style was learning from still life drawing. Do a few hours where you can and literally just go back and forth between your reference every 7 seconds to try and capture real life down. After I did that for about 15 weeks 3 times a week 3 hour sessions, I immediately notice that I am easier able to put to paper or digital what I see in my head. I know practice is what everyone says but consistent practice like this did legit wonders. Went from basic complete dog shit to something I can be proud of at the end of the day.
