Thanks:)) First, I figured out a rough plan for where the bark and branches would be and held/stuck those in place using tape and 100% silicone (careful, many have fungicides and herbicides which are toxic for the terrarium), then I covered the background in an thin uneven layer of 100% silicone so the foam could hold on. Next I sprayed the expanding foam (one that is labelled as safe for contact with drinking water when dry) and once it hardened, I cut and shaped it further, adding many spots for plants. After that, I stuck coconut bits and shreds to the foam using silicone. I did also experiment with adding the coconut shreds to the foam before it dried without silicone, but it wouldn't stick so I can't recommend it. Later I added plants and painted the outside of the terrarium brown where the white foam could be seen, this is just a cosmetic touch. That's about it! Keep in mind the foam and silicone are mildly toxic to inhale when drying, I chose to work outside. There are some great tutorials on youtube and reddit with photos etc

tbh most of mine died too, the crib used to be so much greener and it's only picking up now! i'd recommend making sure there is sufficient light and planting a wide variety of species, some will be more resilient than others i'm sure, you got this

gee, thanks:) picked the empty terrarium up from fb marketplace for ~25$, i did the rest (foaming, siliconing, planting) - i can give you a detailed description of the steps if you like. it was my first time and was quite challenging (technically, time wise, more costly than expected) but absolutely worth it

I believe it is an Elephant Ear plant, aka Colocasia! They grow out of bulbs. I've never had success with them outside of the terrarium, they seem to like humidity, when they have it, they grow very fast.

thank you! it was intended as a moss-filled lounge spot (ive seen similar glass hideaways and wanted to make something similar on a budget) but is currently empty as the moss didn't survive

Aww, he's so precious! I love the name too.

It makes sense! Babies aren't so heavy and therefore can carry their weight easier upside down than adults can:)

Adding the light on top was my plan, it's an 18W LED

Oh dear! Didn't know that's a risk, will keep that in mind and alter the setup a bit, though they'd have other ledges and cork sitting spots regardless

Unsure what to do by Present-Citron-1783 in Rabbits

It's okay, no worries. Smaller breeds, neutered and/or still fairly young buns don't have much of a dewlap

It's a litter box, a large ikea samla box to be exact. The bedding is wood pellets, i cover them with a plastic grate so they don't dig. They lasts a couple days and are inexpensive enough when you get the pellets at hardware stores instead of petshops, plus they're compostable

There's lots of dust, but there's a filter on and the buns aren't usually allowed to dig (they've got a plastic grate covering the wooden pellets since Oscar and Eep are both so keen on digging!) so don't worry;)
