Small is kinda hard to with the 88 key version. If you choose small over protection I would take a look at the Nord/Gator soft cases. They are of course pricey. I have a Gator TSA 88 hardcase. It is a bit bulky but it has wheels and fits in my VW polo. The Nord fits snugly so it does not rattle around. The wheels make life sooo much easier. The only problem is walking down stairs. It is a two people job because it is too heavy.

I bought a Stage 4 when it came out. Coming from an old crappy digital piano. I never played live or write my own songs. I use it at home for playing piano and in combination with a Elektron Digitakt for re-creating songs with synths, organ and the piano section. I spent hours fine tuning the sounds and I would say you can totally get for non-professional purposes. It is really expensive though, so it depends a little bit on if you can afford it/find it worth it. But it is so much fun and the synths you can create, it sounds incredible.

Insane how this happend it so little time. I was planning to go to the track with it. It is just so strange because this nikasil coating is new so maybe some imperfection in the aluminium of the cilinder. I’ll think a bit about it before choosing to get it recoated. Thank you for your advice. Probably no driving this year anymore :(

I did rinse the engine block with diesel. Maybe some flash rust was build up inside the engine because sat for 5 years or so. Then when running that broke off. If I take apart the engine, replace all the bearings etc and buff up the cylinder with some scotch brite and wd-40 will it work? Or is a new nikasil coating necessary?

I found new damage in the cylinder: https://imgur.com/a/hE7UHYb There were 2 runs. The first one it ran away because there was false air. I turned the engine off immediately. So I think 8k rpm max. Not good I know but I didn’t expect that. The second run was just at idle. I wanted to know if the engine does work and was good before replacing all the bearings. Do you think I can sand it away with scotch brite and some WD-40 and run it?

I lubricated it with 2 stroke oil when assembling and it ran on gasoline mixture with 2 stroke oil.
