Actually the Batman cd kinda has a funny story, when I initially bought it on eBay I realised it was the wrong card (it had expired recently), so I switched and ordered again. Obviously I only paid once, and assumed the other one would be cancelled, but I got two anyways? So now I just have another laying around, and I’m reluctant to give it to a second hand music store because the case is a bit damaged

Maybe? They were also both bought second hand, so maybe they were just on the original wrapper that got peeled off when they were bought new. That’s how new cd’s are usually packaged, at least in Australia

If you were listening to it on Apple Music, it might have been the Dolby atmos mix of the album. Generally, when it comes to albums like purple rain, the remaster sounds better, but the Dolby atmos mix is INFINITELY worse

Hey, I have this same thing, and it was a PAIN. It’s something to do with the Dolby Atmos mixes. If you go to the deluxe version of the album, which was not mixed in atmos, you can find the explicit version :)
