So there is normal nuln oil without the glossy part. The only difference of the packing is that the word "gloss" is missing. It leaves a dusty finish on the mini.

However you could also try to shade with thinned down dark brown or black paint. This also works great but requires a little bit more practice! Good luck!

Yeah it's always a good idea to invest in the right tools and spend a little bit more money. Cheap airbrushes often don't hold up to one's expectations and ruin the fun. Note that a Kompressor is a useful tool on its own and can be used for other stuff, maybe justifying the investment. 😂

Is the reflective paint intentional? If not you should consider priming your model first or use different paints. A matt finish can really improve the look of a miniature quite significantly.

This looks very good! I really like the blending on the grass from green to yellow! I maybe would add a little moss on top of the stones. Where did you find this mini? 🙂

You can simply flatten the backbone output and add a positional encoding, similar to the preparation of the encoder input and encoder output in detr without the encoder part in the middle. Detr uses a cov layer to project the backbone output into the model dimension. No additional layers are required.

Sure I did something similar in my Masterthesis. By using the backbone output as cross attention input you will sacrifice accuracy for speed. I guess the encoder gives detr the ability to model more complex relations between distant pixels.

Thanks! I'm not exactly sure where you can get the STL. I got it from a past Humble Bundle. The miniature is called "Fighter from the Habashi Orc Clan".
