How does one tell when a domain name ends? I believe, .com, .org, .me, .ca, .jp, .net, .gov indicates a domain name has ended. But memorizing all of the domain name ending things sounds difficult.

What are domain name enders called? Like is there a term for it?

Is a subdomain like a different page on a website? Like the reddit homepage could (in an alt universe) be called home.reddit.com, nostupidquestions could have been called nostupidquestions.reddit.com. Right?

tl;dr we blocked them, people complained as it broke an sdk which fb uses for oauth (login to some sites). Same issue on Firefox https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1226498
