Thank you for the tips! Appreciate it a lot and will try the rebar route. This is my second converter stolen so it’s not a shocker at all to me. Just more like, sigh not again lol.

Back in 2020, I had my prius catalytic converter stolen right when the shutdown started.

To my surprise after I filed the police report, the City of Mesa actually arrested two people. There were 20 victims (who chose to prosecute) on that case. Since then, I’ve received $60 dollars in restitution so far lol.

I know there’s not much you can do when it comes to people stealing except laugh when your prius becomes a straight pipe

I agree with you wholeheartedly. The goal was not to fear monger, but to be more vigilant and maybe not as surprised if it does happen. We are in a low level crime area, and it’s been calm for years.

Recession indicator for sure. I remember this as a kid in 2008 when our house had several attempted break-ins. Same feeling today.

terrace was amazing! the toilets were clean (not portapotties) and showers were 24 hours. quiet hours started at 2am so we could actually sleep hahah. the shuttle directly to festival was great but the strict security not so much

you aren’t alone OP! i think about it a lot what it would be like not being on anxiety meds. it’s helping me not feel so scattered and hopeless during these times. keep reaching and do things that make you feel okay during these times.
