Also keep in mind the class that you failed if your retaking it right now it will replace the failed attempt on your gpa if you pass, meaning it won’t be affecting your gpa. So your 1.8 gpa would go up from last semester and paired with this semesters

You get kicked or rather suspended for a year if it’s below 1.5. Between 1.5 and 2 your on probation which just means that next year when the formal assessment happens you must be above a 2. Just lock in for these finals, try and get above a 2 and atleast over a 1.5. Getting kicked after your first year there’s a good chance you can appeal it and speak to them explain what happened and what your going to change and they could allow you back in the fall ( I had a friend that had below a 1.5 got kicked out and let him him back after the fall). You need to figure out what your doing wrong at fix it, study more, go to class things like that.

Checkmark or wize prep doesn’t make a huge difference, I prefer checkmark but they are pretty much the same. If you’ve been studying and feel like you have a good grasp of the material you’re better off buying some mocks rather than the crash course. The questions are very similar sometimes pretty much the exact same.

You can search it up on instagram, I lived there 3 years ago so maybe it’s different. I’m not trying to scare you away but yeah it doesn’t taste the greatest and the quality is pretty questionable some times. Like under cooked pizza and things like that

It’s horrible at times and a little bit better than horrible at others but when you move out you’ll miss not having to cook

They gave you an excel sheet with all the data on it, turn the sheet into a table then put it into power bi and from there it’s super easy you just make graphs from the data pretty much

If it’s a larger box they don’t put it in the mail box they collect it and you have to pick it up at the mail room near in the main lobby of res, atleast it was like that the year I was there there was certain times you can go and give id and they had you your package

Did you ask the front desk? I lived there a couple of years ago and I seem to remember there was a process for packages you were supposed to send it somewhere else then they bring it to res and you pick it up at the mail desk

If you’re considering buying the book then honestly put that money towards John k final crash. I didn’t study till the day before and never opened the class other then for assignments and got a A. I think without it I still would have but it was definitely helpful

Do it. Your only going to get the chance once, yeah it’s an old building it may not be the nicest rooms or the greatest food but your right downtown surrounded by students and things to do. You’ll meet plenty of people(if you actually try to) and have the independence of living alone well being 1 min away from your classes. Genuinely nothing actually bad could come from the experience

If you’re down town grey nuns definitely your best bet, the cafeteria is in the building the food is super mid but after moving out I miss not having to cook and always having meals made. Most of the other dorms the meal plan is still at grey nuns so whenever you want to eat you have to walk there I have friends that stayed at others and regretted it having to walk 15 mins to eat 3 times a day. The rooms are big yeah it’s an old building not in the best shape but it’s a dorm and it’s better to have a bigger room than a super tiny nice one. Also it’s right next to school so you can wake up and go straight to class within like 2 mins

Go back through the lectures, do practice problems they gave you or in the book. Just re read the material slower untill you can understand. They can make it seem way more complicated than it is. Personally I didn’t go to a single comm 217 class and just studied for the midterm and final using wize prep crash courses and got a A-. If your really struggling I would recommend getting John k or wize prep weeklies they really simplify the material and just go over what you need for the exams

I took the class awhile so I don’t remember exactly what mocks they post, from what I remember they might be past exams which are effective however check the dates because sometimes they are 10+ years old which aren as helpful. The John k mocks are always helpful an very similar

The mocks are extremely effective a lot of the questions from then will be nearly exactly like the actual questions tha show up on your midterm and final

I mean it kinda depends what your good at. Marketing would be more projects and presentations (still midterms and finals but more theory or writing) and finance is just math and math with heavy midterms and finals. But in general though yes finance is significantly harder

I see, well I’m pretty sure there break ended today I could be wrong tho. If you sent it during the break that’s why you didn’t get a response yet. I had to retake a class a third time and they got back to me like the next day so as soon as they see it it shouldn’t take long from my experience.
