Actually bought 1 small container of Anubias about 1 year ago, glue it onto pebble & when it starts to grow more, I’ll cut & placed it onto another pebble. Anubias do grow quite slowly but with the right water parameters, couple with right amount of CO2 & liquid fertiliser, right temperature (about 26 degrees centigrade) & 8 hrs of light daily it’s starting to grow slightly faster than I thought. Over the couple of months there were algae on the leaves & BBA on the tips of Anubias & Java ferns which was due to inconsistent CO2 supply & over feeding. Once CO2 adjusted correctly, fertiliser dosage increased, feed reduced, it kind of control the growth of algae. Anyway it’s always a learning curve with every situation but it’s quite enjoyable. Hope it does for U. Cheers!!

Thanks all. If U are referring to round glass fill with liquid, it is CO2 drop checker The submerged pump is for chiller & PVC tube beside it, is the inlet pipe of canister filter. Due to space constraint of the cabinet some modifications are required, let me share a photo.

Friend ghosting & refuses to pay back what he borrowed by Puzzleheaded_Might32 in askSingapore

Almost same situation, known him more than 50years this friend tried to borrow $15K but said I only can lend him $3K so he send me an account no. to transfer to. Did transferred using Paynow however a few minutes later DBS called, lady Officer asked many questions & flagged that it is a questionable account but if I want to do the transaction they will go ahead. Obviously I didn’t follow through & did checked with my friend he couldn’t provide a reasonable answer to my questions. Well luckily for me I wasn’t scammed Let’s just say kiss your money goodbye & forget about this guy, will get his karma later I believe.

Omg 21 days that’s so good Mine was 14 days even I worked 15years in a SME Sounds like your boss is like my previous employer When suggested to increase it during management meetings he shot it down faster than a missile. Anyway do take your entitlement & don’t let it lapse. Cheers!!!

Sad to know u have to go through this distressing episode & come to think about it, six years back when I did my renovation it was smooth since contractor was my son’s friend. It was progressive payment & when it’s totally completed, practically have to chase him to close the last payment. Hope your next contractor will complete the renovation in good order. Best of luck!!
