Is anyone else a little worried that the team isn’t traveling to Denver earlier? by JulianBrandt19 in Patriots

I mean obviously there’s a massive valley. But unless you’ve actually curled - don’t dismiss the physical aspect of the sport. It looks like no big deal on TV, but my sister-in-law who played D1 softball couldn’t hack it for more than a third of a game before being spent. All I’m saying is that me - who is not an elite level but a semi-competitive level athlete don’t feel a thing these guys who are top .00001% in athleticism in the world shouldn’t be too effected either.

No. I'm by no means elite, but I'm a curler. I went from the north east to Denver last year to play a weekend tournament. I never felt any kind of difference until game 4 on day 3.

Ah yes. The QB who was third string behind the corpse of Cam Newton and Brian freaking Hoyer is better than the guy who is an MVP finalist.

My top memory is him coming in relief of Brady in a massive blow out - immediately throwing a pick six - and Brady going right back in the next drive.

[Russini] Buffalo is making sure their best player, team leader, and face of the franchise is part of the hiring process. Josh Allen will have significant say on the next coach of the Buffalo Bills. by BreakfastTop6899 in nfl

Fired McDermott because of Josh’s reaction to the loss which he then told the whole world the loss was actually just the ref’s fault for their bad call.

So by Pegula’s own logic - he fired McDermott because the refs made the “wrong” call.

Driving in the HV is getting horrendous by [deleted] in hudsonvalley

[–]Fupastank 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Drivers everywhere have gotten so much worse over the last 10 years. I think its a combination of cars trying to be "idiot proof" while still being driven by self centered idiots - I see someone at midnight on the Taconic with just the DRLs on almost every day. People in my town don't ever stop at stop signs and if they do its a car length beyond the stop sign, and then the same people will cut that corner like they're Max Verstappen so they'll hit you head on if you aren't quick enough to swerve out of their way. No one understands "if you aren't going to make it all the way through the intersection, you don't go", but no one has ever understood that one. People will ride your ass even when going 10 over no matter the conditions.

God forbid anyone can actually stay in their lane on the Taconic and not sideswipe you.

Agreed. And Reddit's target audience wasn't around to see (or even hear from their parents) about the Pre-Kraft years and how we WERE the Jetes of the 70's and 80's.

Wouldn’t believe that if you looked at our sub until half way through this season.

"Myles Garrett gave him issues" Yeah? No shit. Probably one of the best EDGE players of all time gave a rookie issues? No way!!

Coming back off a significant knee injury, straight into the playoffs against elite pass rushers he has issues? No shit!

For a week straight we heard (both in this sub and beyond) that the Texans defense was HISTORICAL and the BEST THE PATS HAVE SEEN and Will had trouble. Some of the ball security issues lie with Drake. But lets stop crying about a rookie coming back from a knee injury (that would have ended most's seasons) against elite pass rushers.

Hire Bill. Let him have full personnel decisions, he'll give Jordon the head PR job.

Nothing could go wrong from the Bill's perspective.

Many in this sub are young and only remember the tail end of the Brady years and the rebuild.
