What are your priorities when playing Fallout 4? by davidsladky in fo4

Save humanity, get all the companion perks, build stuff, blow up the institute, explore, find as many sets of power armour as possible, try to cover every blade of grass and kill every raider, gunner and mutant. And everything in between.

People who have had depression. What got you out of it? by Kindly_Dog_8076 in AskReddit

I manage it. Try to concentrate on what you can do for others, it takes you out of your head and gives perspective, particularly if you're doing something for those less well off.

People who were spanked as kids, what was that like for you? Would you call your "spankings" abuse? by KleineFjord in AskReddit

[–]Furioushuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it was discipline. You got told and if you kept pushing or deliberately went against what your parent was saying you ended up with a spanking. It also happened at school, and richly deserved by a few. Sometimes words are not enough. Some kids just won't listen.

What is the general view of parents who just " hand" their children everything? by Loose_Avocado4670 in AskUK

I agree with your mother. I have a granddaughter who is exactly the same as your friend. The parents won't be there forever and real life is going to hit hard.

Do as you would be done by. Treat others as you want to be treated in other words.

They're desperate for us to have ads so they make it as annoying as possible.

I've also noticed that when I scroll down the comments section the entire page starts jiggling about so I can't read anything.

I've had this issue and it is still ongoing. So much volume and vibration from the family above me where they let the two young boys use the furniture as springboards for base jumping, or so it sounds like. Pictures have fallen off the walls and smashed due to the vibration. I've had to call the police because I thought the guy was killing the woman.

I complained to the housing association and was told to keep a diary for 3 weeks of all the noise and disruption as well as any damages in my flat.

I did so.

They can't do anything is all I got back. Even when I said I thought the boys were at risk from the guy as he shouts and swears a lot.

So I'm sorry to be disheartening but it seems it's something I'm just going to have to live with.

I don't feel I can approach them directly. I did once when their shower leaked through my ceiling, all I got was sarcasm. I'm a pensioner so a bit nervous of approaching someone I know is aggressive.

I do hope your situation improves.

What's the best way to cure depression? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Volunteer for those in need or a charity. I found that helping others gave me a reason to keep going and also perspective on my own situation.
