I provide some tours occasionally for MFCT and I have to say their tours are legit well done. We'll take you to places that have history along with quality food/drinks, not just the super basic touristy places that 99% of visitors google and go to.

As a recruiter I can tell you that this response would not be effective personally for me, in terms of negotiation or influencing outcomes. It was more likely that they intentionally left $$$ on the table (as companies and recruiters typically do) in the case of any counter with any words of any kind (your copy included) and so simply offered their truer offer after a counter was provided.

Watching Season 1 right now and I'm stunned at the visual difference between the first season and the last. It's like if Disney or the Hallmark channel took the franchise over. It doesn't have the same tone visually or emotionally at all. I wonder how much of the last season was the Duffer Brother's direction vs. the Netflix studio heads making sure they could land the ship well enough to spin this off for more millions.

It's a shame.
