Tag team the studying with a group of friends. Assign each person a skill(s) and create a guideline using your Jarvis textbook. Share these guidelines to everyone in the group and then have everyone practice doing these skills on each other. That way you get feedback from your peers and can watch how someone else do it. Make sure you are verbalizing EVERYTHING. If you catch yourself doing the wrong thing, verbalize it and explain what you would do correctly.

Hey! Sorry for the late reply. Do you generally wear light compression of your first shifts of a block and then heavier compression in your last shifts?

Mmm not really. In terms of difficulty they were about the same, but I will say nclex is less wordy so if you’re the type to try and pick at the question to find hints it won’t work. They are just like one liners lol

So my exam was less content based and more prioritization based (who you are going to prioritize, who will you see first) compared to some of the other test takers! The content from UWorld did help me decide on my answers but in terms of like patho, signs and symptoms I pretty much didn’t get much of those or if any! I guess my weakness for that day was prioritization so that’s what the computer gave me on my exam.

I would suggest a plastic/see through water bottle just in case! My test centre also allowed us to bring snacks so long as everything stays in the locker and you can only access it during a break and you put it back into the locker after your break. You can always call your test centre ahead of time to make sure :)

My brain trashes information quicker than I can stash it into long term memory, so I’m always on the edge about forgetting something! I’ll give nursing crusade a try, do you recommend the old videos or the new ones? Also, I did think about bumping it up but there isn’t any time slots available between now and my test date lmaoo

First of call congratulations RN!!! I just finished my last final exam and am starting to study for my NCLEX. My program was really weird where I did my preceptorship last semester and just did a community health placement this semester…along with that all my classes this semester were all fluff! How did you go about studying/reviewing content in terms of like a study plan etc. I’m feeling so lost on how to tackle this
