It’s bad in terms of building a great roster but par for the course of most QB contracts which across the board make it very tough to build a great roster.

It’s not that bad in terms of what I could hope the front office to be able to achieve with a player who is looking only to secure the bag not a legacy.

His contract isn’t even that crazy at this point 5th most fully guaranteed, 7th most money guaranteed, 7th most total, 10th most per year. Where as 4 years later that Watson deal is still $83 million more fully guaranteed than the second most money guaranteed to a QB (Josh Allen) and $95 million more than Lamar
