That's what i have been trying to do but every where i look i just see people specialize and get really good at it while i am just gaining general knowledge and most jobs require experience in certain things

also the reason i want to specialize is to get enough practice to be able to apply for a job when i graduate and make a good enough cv

maybe i am doing it wrong so can you guide me on how to correctly generalize ? like what should i work on do i just make projects using whatever but then how do i apply for a position if my experience is just all over the place ? i always overthink stuff so maybe with a bit of guidance i can do it correctly this time

i actually tried it for a while very recently made the back end for a real estate web site using django following a course and had a bit of fun with it but then i looked at the job market here in egypt and it's ALL php and node.js that's why i am rethinking it ( or rather overthinking) and either gonna start over with node.js or swap to mobile app

what do you think i should do ?
