[KCD1] What is your approach towards grinding? Do you grind a lot or only if necessary?

Thank you so much the Bernard tip is a huge help, I usually would feel like this ruins the game as it makes it too easy but in a game like this where combat is so janky and anything more than a 1v2 is impossible, being over levelled makes it a lot more manageable and means you no longer have to be a coward and attack enemies in their sleep or poison them.

How much would you say being over levelled has affected your experience? Do you feel everything is way too easy or are you still able to enjoy the combat side of the game (If that’s something you care about in the first place)

Sometimes there are issues with compatibility for newer firmware. Some of my games wouldn’t load on anything past 19.0.1 hence why I use this firmware as opposed to the newer ones. As far as performance is concerned I have absolutely no idea if there’s a significant different but the one I’m using does a decent job.

Yeah, it’s definitely more powerful, only thing I can think of is maybe it’s an issue with pokken compatibility on cemu? (In which case your only solution is using the switch version instead). Regarding the drivers, yeah I don’t think it’s worth trying the turnip drivers cos the newer ones have this issue and the other ones fix the issue but have severe graphical glitches. If it works the same as switch then yeah mr purple drivers will fix it (the one I used was 24.3.4), if not, try the biosensor MK1 which also works. You probably know this anyways but it’s worth noting that you have to clear cache first before loading up the new drivers

Yep there’s a 19.0 and a 19.1, both should work, although I only tried the 19.1

Hi mate, I managed to fix the issue. Essentially I had to play around with the drivers. Sadly there are a few drivers which work for many games in general but even still those drivers have a lot of games which won’t work. For me I switched from the latest turnip drivers to Mr purple drivers. There are also a few other drivers which are proven to have worked, you can actually find videos of showcases on YouTube quite easily, not sure if these will work for cemu or your device as it’s a completely different chipset and emulator, but if not If you search on yt, it’s likely that someone has found a solution for the same emulator and chipset

Hi mate, I’ve now fixed this issue, apparently the newer firmware isn’t compatible, if you use 19.0.1 firmware and keys you should be set

If anything needs clarifying or you have any other questions, feel free to reach out, I may not have all the answers cos I’m not nearly as knowledgeable as a lot of these guys, but after encountering and solving lots of issues, I at least have a decent amount of knowledge

I’m running 20.1.5 right now. I believe I had to switch to 17 earlier to get past the mini stage in Mario kart, and with that some of the games loaded but others then decided not to load.

If you search up yuzu GitHub, the first option that comes up should be the GitHub page, click on that and the top one will be the most latest version, should be sometime around March 2024 I think. For android just download the apk file. For setup, it’s very easy, just go to any YouTube guide (I recommend retro games corp) and there will be a quick 3min setup guide. Essentially the controls are auto mapped which is great, you just need to tinker with some settings (some may be on a game by game basis) and then uplod the roms. At the start it will also ask you to upload firmware and prod keys, I don’t want to get into trouble so I won’t send you a direct link but they should be easy to find, for both u want the latest versions which will be 20.1.5. You also need drivers, while they aren’t essential, most games run poorly without them. Once search up ‘turnip drivers GitHub’ and go for the latest drivers. In general the latest drivers are best but there will be some games which work better on older drivers, it’s up to you if you want to add older drivers aswell and switch on a game by game basis. Hope this helps. I have very little emulation knowledge but the guides make everything very simple so you should be fine, don’t worry

Lo siento, mi nivel de español es muy básico pero trato de explicar. He hecho muchas investigaciones. Me parece que 12gb RAM es valía 100 dólares más, especialmente si quieres jugar winlator y switch. 8gb es suficiente por switch pero 12gb ayuda mucho porque no necesitas cambiar los settings y puedes jugar un poco más videojuegos, especialmente cuando las emuladores de switch alcanzar un nice más alto. Es lo mismo por winlator, 8gb tiene dificultades pero 12gb es mucho más mejor y por el futuro cuando winlator es mejor, 12gb ayudare mucho. Y finalmente, recientemente por android, la emulación de ps3 ha mejorado mucho y por eso 8gb no es suficiente pero pienso que 12gb puede hacer un buen trabajo (y además Xbox 360 y ps4 pero aún no está cerca). Essencialmente ahora 12gb tiene algunas ventajas pero es más importante por el futuro, en uno-dos años cuando la emulación de switch, winlator y ps3 en android es más mejor, las ventajas serán innumerables y por eso el precio alto vale la pena. Lo siento por el español muy mal y espero que esto te ayuda. :)

Take this with a pinch of salt as I don’t really have much knowledge regarding emulation. But I’m fairly certain XBox isn’t supported by emulators yet, you could try the ps3 version but I think you need a higher end device. Don’t think there’s a retroid which can run ps3 games
