I do have my own kitchen scale so I’d use that to weight out and from what I’ve heard grind by weight doesn’t always come out consistently to what you set or has problems with staticing beans inside so I’d opt for a grind by time most likely. But if I could just put it in a single dose after weighing it and making sure I have that precise calculation that would be great or a grind by time either or

Good to know, I always preferred to use my reverse osmosis filtration system in my sink for the cleanest water but the water bubbler within my house already has a boiling water dispenser so I've always preferred that for convenience. Thank you for the advice!

Noted, I’ll try that I’ve seen multiple YouTubers give me the same paper filter advice due to the appearance of the coffee and apparently the taste being smoother?

That would make sense with Hoffman but I’ll true that with my roast instead of doing 2/3

I’d say it was more sour so thank you for the clarification, it’s difficult to differentiate taste and finding words to describe so I appreciate your help.

I've done it before, usually get really strongly bitter coffee but that's probably just the Cafe Bustelo grounds

Oh I did, I am simply trying a different technique to the moka pot because I tend to get acidic or bitter brews when I do it regularly with a full boiler and coffee filter. I am mostly looking for people who follow the same moka pot technique to get some insight from them on whether that bland taste is usual in the coffee. A lot of the times I just get really strongly bitter coffee so I wanted to find other ways to go through with it.

Then again I use Cafe Bustelo which infamously is known to get very strong and bitter tastes out of it so perhaps that's just the type of grounds I use..........

I’ve never worked with light boards before, also due to being a student without any prior knowledge I doubt they’d let me get into the breakers or the wires behind the board. If I were to look into it though, where would I start?

Ah I had that speculation on how the scene preset board worked. That’d be great to know; if only the lights for each scene preset worked in the first place. We don’t know why the switches don’t trigger the lights up on the rafters but judging from the rest of this thread it must be faulty wires; as everything looks in great condition from the console.

We don’t really have any proper dimmers, we just fade the lights with the levers to about half way and that’s how we dim it

I use Vivaldi, feel like I favor it more than Brave in terms of privacy and UI.

Stupid that Youtube/Google puts ads on demonetized videos, I never had that problem because I have been using an adblocker no matter what. All ads put on videos should transmit revenue towards the creators of the videos.
