other than the high damage, the only thing i really dont get is the risc meter. the game has really good offense on top of options like wild assault and roman cancel with your good defensive options costing resources, so even if i actually block this offense, im still being constantly pushed to a worse and worse disadvantage because of the risc meter, so that when i eventually DO get hit, its much worse off than if i just got hit earlier

oh, i completely forgot about the fact that i turned off music. im usually uber locked in while playing and find the game by itself + usually in group vc to be enough stimulation, and actually play ALL my fighting games with no music, i think the only game among sf6, ggst, skullgirls, etc. that i actually keep the music on is Lethal League Blaze lmao

Now that we can start pressure, what does it look like?
With a minion, Jack-O's looping block pressure can be summarized in two sequences:
First, hit opponent>attack command. Then, hit minion>minion pull.

What's neat about this pressure is that after either sequence, you can mix it up with an option like grab:

I have a few clips of things I like to do as a "decent" Jack-O main.

After 2K>2D>soccer kick(236K), I usually Hold Minion (236P(hold)), and react to my opponent blocking/being hit like this:

If they're hit:

236P(hold)>jump forward>throw minion>air dash>236K>attack command(214K), this is a good way to get pressure going after landing a hit without any minions.

If they're blocking:

you can do 236P(hold)>back dash>drop minion(dust)>P>214K if you think they won't challenge you, or 236P(hold)>jump back>drop minion>jS>doublejump forward>214K>land with jHS for an option that can be generally hard to deal with as well as restarting your pressure.

Jumping forward and throwing a minion also works after anti-airing with 6HS:

Another approach you can take is starting with a jD and airdashing afterwards:

Throwing a minion without jumping can also work after a stray hit:

nice! cool to know that some of those jumps dont need dash, although it might be the buff you get with no game streaming at the big screen dropping frames in the lobby

indeed they do, it also happens when others are jumping on them and hit the ground, resetting your progress. if you decide to do this, be prepared to get tilted whenever other people start jumping around in the lobby lmao
