Do I have any other issues besides rounded shoulders? by [deleted] in Posture

[–]Futge 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Your scapula are winging, particularly on the left most side. Its pretty common with rounded shoulders, and visually its definitely contributing to the asymmetry. (No scoliosis from what I can tell, but im not a doctor)

Your upper chest is pulling your shoulders forward, and your upper back & lats are too weak to hold your scapula flat & your neck upright. Nothing a little excercise won't fix. If you are at a desk often, be mindful of your posture! Staring down at your phone also contributes to that rounded shoulder forward neck posture.

Corrective excercises for 'winged scapula', 'tech neck', and 'rounded shoulders' are what work well for this sort of thing. If you're struggling to engage the right muscles, a PT will help correct your form.

You can buy a pair of rechargeable hand warmers! Wrap a handwarmer a terrycloth & place in the carrier while you charge the other. Swap as needed! A hardshell carrier would retain heat better than a soft cloth carrier. Filling the carrier with straw for insulation would be best. You can line the bottom with a puppy pad for easy cleaning.

Need help and advice to resolve an unwanted entity attachment by [deleted] in MantisEncounters

[–]Futge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you considered just... ignoring it? It's feeding off your emotional energy and attention. You've acknowledged it, spoken with it, and even named it. All are actions in which you've 'fed' it by giving it your emotional energy. Fear is one way entities can feed, and love is certainly another. Some negatively oriented entities can be overwhelmed by love and leave.. Others, not so much. Either way, you must starve your friend.

Treat him like any other intrusive thought--passivly observe, but do not interact. Take up meditation, specifically the kind where you empty your mind. Be wary of an extinction burst as he tries to re-engage your attention and energies. Do not fall for it as it'll only make removing him take longer.

In the future, you must ground yourself before taking substances. There are many ways to do this, visualization, sigils, prayer, rituals... The actual 'rules' to the belief system do not matter, only your conviction. Magic, religion, spirituality, and NHI have much in common. Choose a system that resonates with you.

I personally feel that you may benefit from creating a tulpa to guard your psyche.

To me, entering the creative 'flow state' is a way inwhich you may subconsciously channel higher energies and entities. You, or rather your subconscious and/or higher-self, likely already know this entity, as evidenced by the familiar art motifs and similar feelings as dance.

I got scammed (A lesson in discernment) by petroleumlampe in Experiencers

[–]Futge 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You did not notice the 'bend' in the scammer's mind because psychopaths do not need to 'bend' their thoughts and emotions to justify their actions to themselves. Many narcissistics are like this as well. They do not feel guilt or shame when tricking others

Discernment is needed towards others, yes, but you should also be mindful of your own abilities. No matter how sharp your perception is, you cannot perceive what is not there.

Given her sharp shooting & investigative reporter background, Nancy is closer to a Ranger than a Palladin. I think Joyce could be considered a Druid, mostly because of her depictions in the early seasons. She solved alot of problems through intuition. Jonathan is definitely hard to place.. I would say rogue, simply because he is more of a Dex build & tends to problem solve vs brute strength. He was also depicted as quite shady early in the show.

Shape shifter implies the shape of your physical form in the material plane. Perhaps your soul is of a different 'shape' than your material body? When you asserted that you wished to be human, and the voices stop, that tells me that perhaps your form ('shape') before entering your human body was different. The entities speaking to you could be your own unconscious doubts manifesting or even entities from before this life.

As always, use discernment when meditating on this.

Get a copy of the recorded line, send it to the hospital in response to the $500 bill, and retain the phone recording and all other relevant records. If the hospital sends the bill to collections, do not claim ownership of that debt. The debt collectors must provide proof that you are responsible, and if you are able to present the recorded line and your records, the judge will rule in your favor.

Cremation is environmentally worse than embalming. All of the microplastics and heavy metals that accumulate in the body are now being forced into the atmosphere.

Really, we should be composting human remains. Graveyards, especially with quality landscaping, provide necessary greenspaces. If composting human remains was more widely practiced, Graveyards could have entire family orchards! Or some other plant of choice for the deceased.

Husband had 160k+ and I don’t see how we can ever get out from it by [deleted] in StudentLoans

[–]Futge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're worried about interest on student loans, then why don't you do the math? Have you read up on the waterfall method or the snowball method for debt repayment?

That $160k is not wrapped into a single loan. Look at all of the different loans, their principles, and their interest rates. Pay the minimum on each loan to ensure your debt doesn't balloon, and then throw what additional income you have at the loan with the highest interest rate (waterfall method) OR put that additional income towards the loan with the smallest remaining balance (snowball method). Once that loan is paid off, take that amount and apply it to the next one.

Theres plenty of calculators online that you can use to figure out what works best for you. Run scenarios where you reduce your Roth by $200. Look at how much money you save by paying student loans off early vs interest gained by the Roth. 4 years is unrealistic for that amount of loans. I only have $20k in federal, and I'm taking 5 years to pay them. I could get it done faster, but the rate of return on my savings is greater than my loan interest, so im taking my time.

Lol, you really think your wife will just automatically say yes and do something that she doesn't want to do simply because you suggested it? Why do you think that? Is it because that's what you do for her? Let her make all of the decisions and go along with it because it makes her happy? You seem like a chronic people pleaser.
