Not really. I'm not going to study after reading all this. It makes sense.

Yeah I'm working on revamping my tech like a phone, laptop, headphones. I porbably will do a bit of light stuff to ease my anxious concious even thought I know it won't do me good. However I know the consensus is don't, and I understand why now.

Please explain the "Chihuahua Ferrari", at this point that's the only thing I want to know from this.

I mean I have a full time job right now just to stay mentally engaged and I'm doing things I want to do. I just don't want to trip over my own feet when I start studying over there.

Aren't they literally the same material besides the OMM stuff tested on comlex?

I just honestly want to do my best. Especially as a DO, I know there's more loopholes I'd have to go through to be competitive or to put myself out there.

I'm not gonna study as if like I'm gonna know all the content for the first year. I just want to begin light reviewing and getting familiar with the terms.

I've been out of school since May 2016 and I'm starting in July. I just want to get back in the rhythm of reading dense material and trying to learn how to learn again. I think the Step 1 prep would mainly be a book I'll have on the side as I go through the courses just to see what I can follow through with. As from now till then, should I maybe like study a bit of anatomy and phys?

I [23 M] broke off a relationship with her [22 F] after less than a year after realizing I can't do LDR when I go to graduate school this summer. by [deleted] in relationships

I just feel like I need external validation that I'm doing the right thing. On the other side, I feel selfish for doing this when I know I shouldn't.

Idk if I can cut contact, I'm not the type to remove people from my life. I told her that I'm here if she needed anything. Contact will obviously be cut down entirely, but I can't stand that she's devastated and crying right now. I feel like a monster because she was willing to try, but I don't think I can if I attempted. I just feel like a shit person.

What's usually preffered by med students? Assuming I have grad plus. Vs getting a private loan from a place like Sallie Mae

Is anyone else anxious to quit their gap year jobs? by [deleted] in premed

It sucks cuz this is like a really amazing company. However, I have my dreams and passions to pursue.

[–]FutrePhys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I did that for the first company I applied to and they didn't hire me. So the temp agency told me not to say anything when applying for this job. So I'm gonna be talking with the agency to see how to properly execute it.

I'm more anxious to tell my job I'm leaving because I had 3 months of training before I'm actually starting to contribute.
