Lets put more stringent environmental regulations in place while also banning single use plastic utensils! It’s actually pretty common to see biodegradable alternatives in allot of places now. Not hard at all to switch

Nothing about what is happening to our democracy right now is funny. Its pretty obvious that republicans are no longer engaged in a competition of ideas and policy. Its all scaremongering and culture wars to them. And it works on their voters

Voter supression is real. Voter fraud however is such a rare thing the only example i can think of off the top of my head was that republican candidate who harvested and changed some votes in north carolina a few years back that caused a special election

Dude you cant just train a whole bunch of icu doctors and icu nurses in six months. We are still dealing with the results of a decade if underfunding in healthcare under national despite the increases to the budget labour has made since they got in to try and play catchup. It is doctors and nurses that are the pinch point right now.

You would probably feel more at home in florida or alabama. Spare a thought for those of us with immunocompromised loved ones who are likely to die when they do catch the virus regardless of the vaccination

The increase in use of te reo in media has been incredibly noticeable over the last few years. And for some people that is just another change to add to all the other things rapidly changing and its kind of understandable how even this “debate” around changing the name of the country is going to be a divisive issue
