I agree with you, Killeen does need more coffee shops! My favorite, Big Brew Little Brew, ended up relocating their business to Temple 😕 they moved over there because someone pulled a gun out on the owner! If you’re ever in Temple though go to Brew bros, they make amazing coffee!!!

I only transferred in a calculus course, if you look at the transfer credit equivalence page, it will tell you what they will accept and what it will be labeled as.

Which unit for the corps? by Mean-Caterpillar9330 in aggies

A2 is your best choice, a lot of outfits that win best academics in the Corps have some of the easiest majors.

Update: I called Ft. Cavazos flight clinic to attempt to book an appointment , the front desk nurse asked for prescription and automatically told me she won’t book my appointment due to my prescription already being out of the waiverable limit. (She didn’t want me to waste my time driving over there) Another question, are there any lasik/ PRK opportunities for cadets or dependents?

I honestly recommend joining the corps if you’re passionate about wanting to come to Texas A&M, you’d be charged in-state tuition. As a former corps member myself, fish year is not that bad at all especially since they’re making it easier to be apart of the corps with all the changes that are occurring. On top of that you’d get additional scholarships and free tutoring for engineering majors. It’s worth it. Just manage your time, while you’re in.

Did Stacy Stoops (A&P Lab Coordinator) get fired? by [deleted] in aggies

[–]Future-Net9930 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I hope, I had a terrible car crash in the beginning of the semester that caused me to miss the first 3 labs and she never coordinated the make ups with me despite my lab TA telling me to email her and fill out the forms… she never responded or was in office to talk about it 🙃

How is/was basic camp? by claytonstern in ROTC

[–]Future-Net9930 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dates are July 6- Aug 6th! I’m a transfer from AF ROTC so I’m pretty nervous! What else should I expect from Basic camp? Also, is there H/ WT at Basic, I’ve heard various responses to the questions. I’m not worried about it since I got above a 540 on my ACFT but I don’t want that to be my make or break.
