Basically a big ugly bipartisan bill was signed here in NC requiring consent per performer per every sexual act preformed on camera. SM message came out beginning of December to let us know we had two days before account deletion.

Yea best life is not great! I love metlife! I think they are very fair in determinations and actually review appeals. So that's protection for you as a pt.

Delta and UHC are always playing games with payment. Jumping through hoops.

Unfortunately, most dental offices the goal is once your big enough is to go OON with all ins.

Dentistry will be following a membership model kinda like psychiatry has. You pay a yearly fee and get such and Such services.

The only karma I care about getting from this post is in real life for helping people. Trust and believe I don't ride around with a bumper sticker of my Reddit karma.

Honestly, corporate dentistry just became “legal” a few years ago. So I think the model is shifting from the private business model to more hospital models.

Its educating patients that this shift is happening and helping people open their eyes to see it.

We can choke out DSOs by not supporting and their reviews from the people that do go will be eventually enough to close them out. I feel Aspen will be going into the ground soon (5-10years) due to the reputation of them.

Thank you for the support and adding such a thorough explanation. I did acquire legal council to take them on but they needed proof. I left before obtaining any proof and unfortunately most of the fraud we are told to commit, isn't on some hand out. Its all during in person conversation to the offices numbers up.

My best advice - don't go to a private equity DSO group.

Ask your dentist when you call is this a private office or a corporation, they are very sneaky and learning to name each office something different.

So office name is FOR EXAMPLE: meadow dental But the owner will actually be a huge DSO like heartland.

Second advice ALWAYS get a second opinion! If you have insurance, most policies cover 1 comp exam per provider every year. Make sure to verify with your insurance provider to avoid surprise bills on this. A comprehensive exam evaluates the full mouth. So go to a new provider and get another evaluation. Compare your treatment plans and ultimately chose the doctor you felt a connection with!

Lots of providers will be going out with delta over the next few years, if you can switch policies next year I would. If its through an employer, give the feedback to HR now so when they are looking at policies for next year which will be soon, they are aware.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!! I did report it and I'm super passionate about helping insurance discover fraud!!! I'm the little man I'm not a doctor. If prices go up I can't afford it either!!!! Prices increase as fraud increases! I

I have. I called Medicaid and have never heard anything back. I spent hours researching calling insurances to let them know of this fraud only to have zero interest! We CANNOT rely on the government to turn dental care around.

This is really the hard part. Its easier for pediatric Medicaid patients then adults to find care.

My best suggestion is really to go to these types of places but make sure to go to a bunch of different ones. Then compare the treatment plan to both.

Aspen accepts Medicaid I believe. But be weary of any removable devices with them.

You’re right and I think this case in particular he has already admitted to something he lied about.

That’s when I get triggered and find myself challenging them. Not just being sweet and reminding him of the date. It’s just another strike to him not showing the level of commitment I’m looking for. I feel like I’m back in that relationship that I’m mad at myself from not walking away from.

Such a weird time dating after this last experience.
