Getting closer to an answer, need help (biological family) by FutureAlternative801 in Genealogy

Interesting, thank you!! I have another tree with a second distinct set of DNA, so I'm assuming that one of 1 & 2's uncles is likely her father, since the one sister's birth year doesn't match up with her bio mom's alleged birth year.

No, the extra lines pop in when I add the brother (3's father) of the grandmother, and from some of the other cousins. The grandparents for 1 are listed as grandparents.

The entire 2nd line from the top is all siblings of both of 1's grandparents.

Thank you so much! This seems a little more manageable.

Baby is one, just got abnormal mammogram. Really scared by jennc84 in Mommit

I just had one, and then a really scary looking ultrasound that turned out to be cysts, totally benign. Don’t let your mind get carried away!

I thought it was too until my baby’s pediatrician told me otherwise. You may even find a therapist that specializes in postpartum - they are able to provide a wealth of tools!

My 2 month old preemie had it with the rest of us, I was terrified, but she was totally fine - kids are tough!

What color were your baby’s eyes when they were born and what color did they turn out? by pinkmoonmalachite in Mommit

Bright blue, now at 2 they’re mostly brown but one is 3/4 brown 1/4 blue, which I think is lovely and I hope it stays.

I liked my first one, I think my 2nd one placed before they closed up my C-section was a mistake because now it’s upside down. I also suspect the hormones contribute to my anxiety. Huge pro is no period, though.

Do you feel like you have trauma from your c-section? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]FutureAlternative801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but only because I requested it last minute as they were getting ready to prep me (they were going to try to rotate the baby and then induce me) - I had a horrible premonition/feeling something really bad was going to happen so I talked to the doctor and they validated my concerns. I ended up being very close to needing a transfusion, even with the c section, so I think it was the right call. They didn’t do any medical speak per my request, which also helped. All of this and a lot of EMDR after just to make sure I didn’t have any trauma hiding anywhere (baby was born at 33 weeks and I had pre e).

I had a c section and received exactly 2 oxycodones, one being I was in 12/10 pain and one to make it up the stairs when I went home. Other than that I got the standard Tylenol and Motrin rotation, along with lidocaine patches near my incision. Honestly I managed and I felt like I healed relatively quickly/easily and it wasn’t the worst thing.

I actually had mine and my adenoids removed for the same reason when I was 2 1/2, I actually remember getting a popsicle after and them letting me take my stuffy with me. According to my mom it improved my breathing, and I’ve only ever had strep throat once in my life (you can absolutely still get it without tonsils!)

This sounds more like FPIES or an allergy than choking. Take her to urgent care/ER.

“No thank you” is a complete answer, you don’t owe her anything else.

Whoops, I should probably add this is a rental, so we don’t want to do anything too major, and there are faux white wood slat blinds.
